Introduction to Sculptural Portraiture

On 6 December 2025, the Forgan Arts Centre in Newport-on‑Tay is hosting Introduction to Sculptural Portraiture, a full-day clay workshop led by artist and ceramicist Kevin Andrew Morris. Running from 10:00am to 4:30pm, the session guides participants in sculpting heads from photos using hand‑building techniques, including building armatures, measuring proportions, and detailing facial features. You’ll learn clay modelling methods, how to hollow and prepare your work for firing, and how to apply surface finishes. All experience levels welcome.
