Wee Mexico is a small, bright Tex-Mex café on the Nethergate, a few minutes' walk from the V&A, in a narrow pink-painted building with bay windows and a turquoise shopfront.

The menu is tacos, burritos, quesadillas and loaded nachos, with Mexican soft drinks in glass bottles, to eat in the long, calm dining room or take away.

The building has another claim to fame. A plaque in the window marks it as the first office of DMA Design, where the computer game Lemmings was conceived; it was unveiled in 2011, on the twentieth anniversary of the game's launch. So the shop is a small place of pilgrimage for gamers, as well as a good spot for lunch. Check opening times before you go.
