Introduction
A Category A Listed site in the heart of Dundee, The Howff is a historic graveyard housing one of the most significant collections of tombstones in the country. Gifted to Dundee by Mary, Queen of Scots, the graveyard features a large number of Roman-style tombs as well and is the final resting place for a number of notable Dundonians, including town architect Samuel Bell.
