Welcome

Eastfield is the neighbourhood restaurant on Perth Road in Dundee's West End, and the Good Food Guide put it thirteenth on its list of Britain's best local restaurants for 2026.

It was founded by chef, wild cook and educator Harris McNeill and his wife Katie, and the breakfast and lunch menu changes every day with whatever is local and in season. Pull up a chair at one of the long sharing tables, order a good coffee or one of the homemade drinks, and see what the kitchen has on. Breakfast and lunch are walk-in only, from Wednesday to Sunday, so there's no need to plan ahead. On Friday and Saturday evenings it becomes a dinner spot, with cocktails and natural wine, and that's when booking is a good idea. Dogs are welcome too. Strawberry Bank and the Verdant Works are both an easy walk away.
