Welcome

Guardswell Cottage sits beside the Steading at Guardswell Farm, with a south-facing panoramic window over the Carse of Gowrie, the River Tay and Fife.

It has been done up inside and out in the last few years, light and colourful, and it sleeps four in a king and a twin.

The kitchen, dining table and sitting room share one open room, and a deck wraps round the front, for dinner on a summer evening with the Hebridean sheep in the field below. There is a firepit in the garden.

Good to know: there is no Wi-Fi; there are three small steps up to the front door, and the bathroom has a shower over the bath; dogs are welcome on a lead.

Sometimes we just need to be given permission to leave our phone in the car and read a book instead.
