The Infield
For two, with one bedroom. Two nights at least. From £160 a night. Arrive from 4pm, leave by 11am.
The Infield stands on its own up the hill at Guardswell Farm, a walk of about seven minutes through a couple of fields from the farmyard.
Its south end is a glass gable over the Carse of Gowrie, the River Tay and Fife, and a stargazing window sits right above the superking bed on the mezzanine.
There is a wood-burning stove, two gas hobs, a flushing loo and a deck with a firepit and a Big Green Egg, and a Goodland hot tub, heated by wood, under an old hawthorn. A fold-out bed below the mezzanine takes two more, children or friends you know well, as it is all one room; children may not sleep on the mezzanine.
Good to know: it is off-grid, with solar lights and no plugs, so phones charge in the Steading; the showers are in the Steading too, about 300 metres downhill; the walk crosses fields of sheep, so bring sturdy shoes, and the farm drives your bags up; the bed is reached by a ladder.
Stayed here? Tell Anna and Digby how it was. Your words go to them, and with your yes they can put a line of them on this page.
