Abernyte – Antiques, a Food Hall and Lunch at Cafe Circa
A few hours.
The route
At Abernyte, halfway between Perth and Dundee, the Scottish Antique & Arts Centre fills one big building with dealers' stands of antiques, vintage finds and art.
Browse it slowly, finish in its food hall, then sit down to lunch at Cafe Circa, whose windows look into the centre.
The day
Abernyte
An unhurried late morning among the dealers' stands at Abernyte, then a sit-down lunch at Cafe Circa.
A morning, with lunch after

Scottish Antique & Arts Centre
The centre is just off the A90 at the Inchture junction, with free parking outside and an EV charging point. Since it opened in 1997 it has spread to more than 30,000 square feet of dealers' stands and glass cabinets, with antique furniture, silver and jewellery, pottery, vintage clothing and paintings among them. There's a showroom of new furniture and homeware and a ladies' clothing department as well, and a food hall of Scottish and European treats, with beer from the Abernyte Brewery and Scottish gins. It opens every day from 10am to 5pm, with wheelchair access throughout and accessible toilets. Only assistance dogs are allowed in the centre and the café.
