Gracie's is a café bistro on Brook Street, the main street of Broughty Ferry, and one of the town's favourite places for breakfast and lunch.

Its dark green frontage runs under a striped awning, with ferns hanging above tables and chairs on the pavement, and a takeaway window for coffee on the go.

Inside it is warm and stylish, with palm-leaf wallpaper, leather banquettes and round wooden tables, and a menu of hearty breakfasts, lunches and home baking made with local ingredients, along with teas and good coffee. Dogs are welcome, which makes it an easy stop before or after a walk on the beach or along the promenade to the castle. It is a few minutes' walk from the other cafés, bars and shops of Brook Street and from the harbour. Opening hours vary through the year, so it is worth checking on its social pages before a special trip.
