The exhibition Garden Futures: Designing with Nature opens at V&A Dundee from mid‑May 2025 and runs through to the 25th of January 2026. It presents over 400 objects—ranging from historical garden designs and artworks to contemporary concepts such as vertical gardens, community allotment projects and experimental installations. Highlights include Scottish contributions like the Oban Seaweed Gardens and Maggie’s Dundee, alongside works by Piet Oudolf, Dior fashion inspired by Charleston House and a China-based video game garden. Visitors pass through immersive zones, experience a scent trail of rose, jasmine and narcissus, engage with interactive soundscapes and consider gardens as agents of environmental resilience and cultural change
