Days out

Days out from St Andrews.

St Andrews is a wonderful base for days out in Fife. Beyond its cathedral ruins, castle and famous golf links, the East Neuk's fishing villages are a short drive along the coast, with their harbours, crow-stepped houses and fish and chips by the sea. There are long sandy beaches, clifftop stretches of the Fife Coastal Path, and Dundee and the Tay just to the north.

Every day is worked out stop by stop, with the drive between each place, where to eat, and what to book before you go. Some keep to a single village and a long lunch; others string a few together along the coast. Choose your day, take your time, and enjoy the sea air.
