Days out

Days out from Stirling.

Stirling sits right at the heart of Scotland, and its days out are full of the country's history. The castle stands high above the old town, the Wallace Monument looks down from its crag, and the battlefields of Stirling Bridge and Bannockburn are close by. Beyond the city, the lochs and hills of the Trossachs begin just to the west, close enough for an easy afternoon among the water and the woods.

Each day is worked out stop by stop, with the drive or the bus between each place, where to eat, and what to book before you go. Some keep to the town and its history; others head into the hills for a walk and a lochside lunch. Choose the day that suits you, and leave the planning to us.
