Introduction
Blackford Hill is one of Edinburgh’s seven hills and situation around 2 miles south of the City Centre. It’s a great walk that combines the natural beauty of the Hermitage of Braid with a fun ascent of Blackford Hill which rewards you with beautiful views of Edinburgh and the Firth of Forth.
Allow around an hour and a half for this walk and why not head to The Lodge Coffee House for some refreshments after your walk.
