On 20 February 2026, Jupiter Artland hosts a Seed Workshop with award-winning plant biologist Dr Em Merrin May Armstrong. This interactive, one-hour workshop blends art and nature, inviting participants to explore seed biology, plant lifecycles, and creative expression. Inspired by Georg Wilson’s ongoing exhibition, attendees will sketch, write, meditate, and create unique seed assemblages, deepening their connection to both plants and artistic practice. Em’s interdisciplinary approach combines sustainability, queerness, and ecological awareness, making this a reflective and engaging experience suitable for all. The workshop provides a gentle, hands-on exploration of seeds, growth, and creativity in the context of contemporary art.
