The Torfin
A bar, restaurant and grill with four themed bedrooms on St John's Road in Corstorphine, with Scottish meat and fish, cocktails and dogs welcome.
On St John's Road in Corstorphine, in the west of Edinburgh, the Torfin is a relaxed bar, restaurant and grill with a handful of hotel rooms upstairs.
It opens every day from ten in the morning, serving breakfast rolls, lunch and dinner.
The kitchen makes the most of Scottish produce, with Scottish meat and freshly caught fish, and the bar has an extensive wine list, cocktails, draught beers and good coffee. The week is punctuated by offers: a Monday burger club, fish and chips on Tuesdays, Mexican Wednesdays, and children eat free from 4pm to 6pm, Monday to Thursday.
Dogs are warmly welcomed, with biscuits, water and towels, and there are screens for the big matches. For anyone staying the night, four themed bedrooms make a comfortable base for exploring the city or setting out west.
