On Saturday the 26th and Sunday the 27th of July, silversmith Megan Falconer celebrates the opening of her new studio at Woolmill, Craigievar, near Alford. After five years at Deemouth Artists in Aberdeen, she has moved into a bespoke rural workspace designed for jewellery making, silverware commissions and hands-on workshops. Over the opening weekend, visitors can see her recent collections—rings, bangles, bespoke pieces inspired by Aberdeenshire landscapes—and book future classes. Workshops will run from August in the studio. The event is by appointment only, offering a quieter chance to explore her creative process, ask questions, and view the new studio setting.
