Introduction
Kincardine O’Neil (Scottish Gaelic: Cinn Chàrdainn) is the oldest village on Royal Deeside, located in northeast Scotland. Nestled between the towns of Banchory and Aboyne, it sits midway along the Deeside Way, a long-distance footpath stretching from Aberdeen on the east coast to Ballater in the Cairngorms National Park.
