Morningside Gallery will host The Journey Continues, a new solo exhibition from Jack Morrocco opening on Saturday 30 August. The show brings together more than 40 new works from one of Scotland’s most collected contemporary artists, reflecting both travel and studio life. Morrocco’s paintings often evoke the timeless quality of his subjects, from Mediterranean light to carefully observed still life. The exhibition highlights his ongoing exploration of form, colour and atmosphere, recording journeys abroad alongside autobiographical references through objects and influences. This marks the artist’s fifth solo exhibition with Morningside Gallery and will run until 14 September. Works can also be viewed online and through a virtual tour for those unable to attend in person.
