The Royal Observatory is an astronomical institution located on Blackford Hill around 3 miles from the centre of Edinburgh. They hold regular public astronomy evenings where you can Come and hear the story of Edinburgh’s Royal Observatory and tour the beautiful Victorian telescope dome and star gaze on their roof.
