Opening on Saturday 11 October 2025, Under a Moonlit Sky at Morningside Gallery showcases 40 new paintings by Scottish artist Gordon Wilson. Known for his bold use of colour and distinctive storytelling, Wilson revisits familiar subjects such as poppies, boats, cottages, and his recurring ‘wee biddie’ character. The works explore Scotland’s landscapes under glowing sunsets and calm, moonlit skies, blending humour and memory with scenes of everyday beauty. A graduate of Glasgow School of Art, Wilson’s paintings are widely collected both in the UK and internationally. The exhibition runs until 26 October, with a private view on Friday 10 October.
