Clay, Craft and Connect Workshop with Amy Benzie

Spend a creative day exploring clay as a living, responsive material in this process-led workshop with artist Amy Benzie. Inspired by the surrounding garden and seasonal change, participants will slow down and work intuitively using hand-building techniques including pinching, coiling and slab construction. Amy will also demonstrate how to create and apply monoprints directly onto clay, encouraging playful surface decoration and layered mark-making. Suitable for complete beginners as well as those with prior experience, the workshop offers a relaxed, supportive environment focused on mindful making. Participants may choose to have their finished pieces fired and glazed after the session.
