On Saturday, 6 December 2025, The Barn in Banchory hosts Christmas Makerie – Family Mosaic Ornaments, a festive creative workshop led by mosaic artist Maggie Patience of Pretty Rubbish Mosaics. Running from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm in The Gallery, this session invites families to design and craft their own mosaic ornaments using vibrant tiles and recycled materials. Participants will learn techniques for pattern-making, colour selection, and grouting to complete one-of-a-kind festive pieces. Suitable for ages 8 and above, with children accompanied by a paying adult. Tickets are £25 per person, and all materials are provided.
