Harvest Feast Night at Ballintaggart Farm

On Friday the 19th of September 2025, Ballintaggart Farm hosts its Harvest Feast Night, part of a series of evening gatherings celebrating seasonal Highland fare. Guests gather from 7pm at a communal table, passing plates of Ballintaggart sourdough, Great Glen venison salami, olives, and whipped butter to start. Courses follow: slow-cooked leeks with crowdie, hazelnuts and charred onion; sweet cicely-cured trout with buttermilk and cucumber; and a choice of Blair Atholl lamb loin or salt-baked celeriac, accompanied by shared sides like BBQ corn, new potatoes and kohlrabi salad. The evening concludes with steamed blackberry sponge, meadowsweet custard, and oat crumble, coffee, and tablet. It’s convivial, rooted in place, and grounded in local flavour.
