A bar and brasserie in the courtyard of the Mains of Taymouth estate at Kenmore, open every day, with local food, a fire indoors and a big sunny terrace.
On the edge of Kenmore, where the Tay leaves Loch Tay, the Mains of Taymouth estate has a golf course and, in its courtyard, a bar and brasserie.

The Courtyard serves lunch, snacks and dinner every day, and the chefs cook with what is on their doorstep, from Perthshire meat to local vegetables. Inside there are couches by a cosy fire for colder days; outside, a big sunny terrace fills with tables on fine afternoons. Children are welcome, and dogs are allowed in the bar and outdoors.
It is open to everyone, not just the estate's guests, and families and walkers mix with golfers coming in off the course. The Courtyard makes a good stop after a morning on Loch Tay, a visit to the Crannog Centre or a walk up to the Falls of Acharn, and it stays open into the evening for dinner.
Arrives at 5am every day.
