Lassintullich House is an eight-bedroom Victorian lodge for up to sixteen, two miles from Kinloch Rannoch at the foot of Schiehallion in Highland Perthshire.

It has been restored in the spirit of Scottish country living, with a new kitchen, a traditional dining room that seats up to 20, and a drawing room and sitting room with fires for the evenings. Three of the bedrooms are master suites. The house splits into the Main House, with five bedrooms, and the East Wing, with three, each with its own kitchen. Outside you have 250 acres to yourselves and access to 2,000 more, with a fire pit and benches under the rock face, a timber summer house up the drive and a view out over the loch to the hills. Kennels, a stable and a boot room for wet dogs and muddy kit make it an easy house to come back to after a day on the hill.

Noise travels a long way in a glen: we can often hear the team gathering the sheep off the hill on the other side of the loch.

There are eight bedrooms, three of them master suites, a new kitchen, a dining room for up to 20, a drawing room and a sitting room with TV and Wi-Fi, wood-burning stoves and open fires, and a boot room and laundry, with storage for bikes, kayaks and the rest of your kit.

Kinloch Rannoch's village store, 2 miles away. Co-ops in Aberfeldy and Pitlochry.

Their own Pasture for Life beef, slow-grown and native, sold direct from the farm.
Provided
Linen, towels, soap and toilet paper. Bring your own shampoo.
Heating
Central heating in two zones, set before you arrive. Around 18°C keeps it comfortable.

Lassintullich stands in its own grounds two miles from Kinloch Rannoch, in the glen between Loch Rannoch and Loch Tummel at the foot of Schiehallion, looking out over the loch to the mountains.

Kinloch Rannoch's village store is the nearest shop, with Co-ops in Aberfeldy and Pitlochry for a bigger one. Public transport is limited, so come by car.
