Welcome

Down a little lane off the Square in Kinloch Rannoch, opposite the Dunalastair Hotel and the Buchanan memorial, a small modern building behind a house is the gallery and workspace of the photographer Ian Biggs.

The walls change through the year with his pictures of the glen around it: Schiehallion catching the first light above a sea of mist, red deer on the frosted fields below the village, sunsets over Loch Rannoch and the Black Wood. Alongside them hang the paintings and crafts of other local artists, with cards and small things to take home, and prints are sold framed or unframed. The gallery can also print and frame visitors' own photographs.

The Shed opens from Wednesday to Saturday, and visits at other times can be arranged.
