Introduction
Running for 34 miles, Glen Lyon is the longest enclosed glen in the country. Part of a designated National Scenic Area – one of only forty in the country - the glen was once described by Sir Walter Scott as the ‘longest, loneliest and loveliest’ of its type in Scotland.
