Sauna on a boat
Introduction
Moored on the wide expanse of Loch Tay at Taymouth Marina, the HotBoat is a floating sauna experience rooted in simplicity and sensory immersion. Once aboard, you settle into the wood-lined cabin as the stove warms steadily, warming muscles and lifting weariness. Large windows frame views across the loch and the surrounding hills. A short step leads from the sauna deck into the cool water of the loch for a bracing plunge between heat sessions.
Taymouth Marina also offers a spa cabin on the water, a space designed for deeper relaxation, soothing shoulders and joints after time in the sauna. Both experiences can be combined with gentle cruise outings aboard the HotBoat, which glide slowly across Loch Tay while guides share local history and landscape notes. Booking is by time slot, with friendly staff on hand to explain how best to pace the heat, cold water dips, and scenic loch cruises. Warm towels and changing facilities are available on shore at the marina.

Taymouth Marina sits on the eastern edge of Loch Tay, beside the village of Kenmore. It is easily reached by car from Aberfeldy in around ten minutes, with on-site parking available. The marina lies close to Ben Lawers National Nature Reserve and several well-marked lochside paths.
