Garry Bridge

A high road bridge over the gorge of the River Garry near Killiecrankie, with long views down the wooded river, and the Highland Fling bungee jump.

North of Pitlochry, the River Garry runs through a deep wooded gorge on its way to meet the Tummel, and a slender road bridge crosses it high above the water.

From the middle of the bridge the view runs straight down the river between steep banks of oak and birch, and in autumn the whole gorge burns orange and gold.

The bridge is also home to the Highland Fling, a bungee jump from a platform on the parapet, 40 metres down towards the river, with a winch to lift jumpers back up. A bridge swing runs from the same spot, and jumpers must be at least 14.

Paths lead down from the car park into the woods, to the Linn of Tummel where the two rivers meet, and on towards the Pass of Killiecrankie.
