Cafe Calluna

A friendly cafe on Atholl Road in Pitlochry, with home-made soups and cakes, locally roasted coffee, and cocktails as Bar Calluna at the end of the week.

Call
Welcome

On Atholl Road, the long main street of Pitlochry, Cafe Calluna takes its name from the Latin for heather.

It is a small, friendly place, furnished with vintage tables and chairs and strung with fairy lights, and dogs are as welcome as their owners.

The coffee is roasted locally, and there is tea, hot chocolate, milkshakes and smoothies to go with it. The kitchen makes its own soups and a long row of cakes every day, with baguettes, panini, sandwiches and jacket potatoes for lunch.

From Thursday to Saturday the cafe stays open into the evening as Bar Calluna, an early-evening cocktail bar mixing the classics and a few seasonal specials. By day it opens every day of the week.

Hidden Scotland, the magazine

Scotland, in print.

We want to show you the best that Scotland has to offer. The makers and the creatives, the enduring experiences, the evocative tales, the concealed corners. The roads less travelled that take you to places that matter. The adventures that gather you up and sweep you away. The blend of the wild and the artistic that makes Scotland what it is. We’d love for you to join us.
