Since 1695.
The Moulin has been an inn since 1695.

An inn of 1695 on the square of Moulin above Pitlochry, with its own brewery since 1995, a fireside bar and rooms at the foot of Ben Vrackie.
A short climb up the hill from Pitlochry, the little village of Moulin gathers round its square, and on one side stands a long white inn with small windows and a slate roof.

The Moulin has been welcoming travellers since 1695, when this was a waypoint on the old roads through the Highlands, long before Pitlochry grew below it.
In 1995, three hundred years on, the inn began brewing its own beer, and the Moulin Brewery was one of the first of Scotland's small modern breweries. Its copper vessels stand across the yard, and free tours run every day. In the bar, with its low beams and an open fire, the house ales are poured from the pump alongside a long list of whiskies.
The inn has rooms and cottages, and the path up Ben Vrackie starts close by, so a pint here makes the end of a good walk.
Arrives at 5am every day.
