From Saturday the 19th of July to Sunday the 31st of August (closed for a few days early August and Mondays), Bowhouse in Fife hosts Space to Breathe’s summer programme. Titled “Making Waves – Breaking Ground,” it features painting, photography and video by eleven artists whose work responds directly to earth and water. Among them are Susan Derges, Alexander Lindsay and Santeri Tuori, each showing pieces made through experimental, physical processes. The exhibition is free and open daily with occasional artist talks, workshops and performances. The aim is to prompt close observation of natural elements, through art that has come from working in and with the landscape itself .
