Moment Blythswood Street is an aparthotel of one-bedroom apartments at 134 Blythswood Street, in the centre of Glasgow and ten minutes’ walk from Central and Buchanan Street stations.

Inside, they’re calm and grown-up, with soft greys, a matt black kitchen and a big upholstered headboard behind the bed. The little things are all thought of: a coffee machine with local tea, coffee and biscuits, a washer and dryer, a Marshall speaker, Laura Thomas Co toiletries and blackout curtains. There’s no front desk: you let yourself in with a digital Guest Pass, and the team is there day and night by phone, WhatsApp, text or email. Buchanan Street’s shops are a few minutes’ walk away, and for afternoon tea there’s Mackintosh at the Willow, in a building Charles Rennie Mackintosh designed.
