Merchant City

As the name suggest this is the area of Glasgow which once held warehouses, the old fruitmarket and traders of all kinds. Nowadays this is an upmarket area with cool restaurants and bars and top designer clothing boutiques. The Old Fruitmarket is now Merchant Square and has become a lively cultural place to meet, eat, drink or enjoy events.
