Talli House is a modern retreat for up to four adults on the edge of the village of Dunlop, in the East Ayrshire countryside.

It sits beside its hosts’ home but is fully self-contained, with its own driveway, entrance and garden. Outside it is dark timber; inside, the living room rises to a high white ceiling, with a wood-burning stove, a long wall of glass onto the fields and a canopied outdoor lounge beyond. There are two king bedrooms and two bathrooms, with a walk-in rain shower and a Japanese-inspired soaking bath. Dogs are welcome too, and there is a fully enclosed field for them to run in.

No smoking, no parties or events, no outdoor shoes past the entryway, and no charging an electric car from the house.
By car
35 minutes from Glasgow, off the M77 at junction 7 for Stewarton and Dunlop; about an hour and a half from Edinburgh.

Where it is

Talli House is on the edge of Dunlop, a village in the East Ayrshire countryside south-west of Glasgow, with its own private driveway.

The owners put it about 35 minutes from Glasgow by the M77 (junction 7 for Stewarton and Dunlop) and about an hour and a half from Edinburgh. The exact address comes with your booking.

Getting hereFrom Glasgow, about 35 minutes: the M77 south towards Kilmarnock, off at junction 7 for Stewarton, the third exit at the roundabout onto the B778, through Stewarton and on to Dunlop. The house is just outside the village, at a discreet entrance with a sign for Talli House.
