Welcome

Through the House calls itself Glasgow's living room, and you'll see why the moment you step inside.

It sits on High Street, by the Tolbooth at the old heart of the city, under a faded shop sign for Complete House Furnishers, and it's a speciality coffee shop with music running all through it, with a disco ball hanging from the ceiling. The filter and pour-over coffees are the ones to try, with espresso and a few pastries alongside. It also hosts live music, DJs and pop-up events, so have a look at its Instagram to see what's on this month. It opens every day except Tuesday, from 8am, or 9am on Sunday, until late afternoon. It makes a lovely stop on a walk from the Merchant City up High Street to Glasgow Cathedral and the Necropolis, so give yourself time for a second cup.
