Welcome

Cafe Antipasti opened on Sauchiehall Street in 1997 and has been feeding the city centre ever since.

It is a relaxed Italian restaurant under a dark green fascia with the name picked out in gold, with a mezzanine above the main room that is kept for birthdays and celebrations.

As the name suggests, the way to start is with antipasti: little dishes of calamari, prawns, meatballs and baked cheese to share. After that come thin pizzas from the oven, pasta, and steak with fries and peppercorn sauce, and a tiramisu or a slice of chocolate torte to finish. There are speciality menus alongside the full one. The kitchen serves all day, from eleven in the morning until nine at night, every day of the week, so it suits a late lunch as well as an early dinner.
