Whisky lovers will feel right at home at the Good Spirits Co., a specialist drinks shop at 23 Bath Street in the centre of Glasgow.

This is where it opened its first shop in 2011, and it's still where you'll find its full range: single malts and every other kind of Scotch, gin, world whisky, rum, bourbon, cognac and armagnac, along with liqueurs, vermouth, bitters and everything you need for cocktails. The team try to taste everything they stock, so they're good at finding a bottle you'll love, whether it's a dram to take home or a gift. Look out for its own bottlings of whisky and the cocktails it bottles for the shop. There's a purpose-built tasting room here too, with whisky, wine and cocktail evenings through the year that you can book on its website. It's a few minutes' walk from Buchanan Street and Queen Street Station, and it's open every day, from noon on Sundays.
