Stereo has been one of Glasgow's best-loved small music venues since 2007, tucked away on Renfield Lane in the city centre, and it is a café bar with a kitchen as well as a place to hear bands.

The bar is a long, easy-going room of wooden tables and benches under a low ceiling, and bands play under coloured lights.

Everything on the menu is plant-based. The kitchen bakes its own bread, served in thick slices of sourdough with dips, and the menu changes with the seasons, running from tapas plates to soups, sandwiches and bigger dishes, crisp fritters with a creamy dip, spring rolls with a dark dipping sauce and desserts with ice cream. There is beer to go with it, and it is a relaxed place to eat before a gig or to linger after one. Stereo opens every day from noon until midnight, and until three in the morning on Friday and Saturday.
