Kalinga by Sagar Massey
Chef Sagar Massey's contemporary Indian restaurant on West Regent Street, cooking from India's regional kitchens, with a tandoor, dum biryani and cocktails named for India's states.
Kalinga is a contemporary Indian restaurant on West Regent Street in the city centre, new in 2026 from chef Sagar Massey, whose Angeethi on the south side of Glasgow holds a Michelin Bib Gourmand.
The menu travels across India's regional kitchens, starting with chaat and snacks such as sev puri and dahi ke kebab with beetroot ketchup, then smoked chicken tikka, lamb chops and a whole tandoori pomfret from the clay oven, slow-cooked curries like Kashmiri lamb rogan josh and Old Delhi butter chicken, and dum biryani opened at the table. The signature cocktails are each named for a part of India, from a saffron and apple Kashmir to a Tamil Nadu made like filter coffee, and there are wines from Maharashtra on the list too. From Tuesday to Friday the Kalinga Tiffin makes an easy lunch, a curry with rice and a soft drink. It's open from Tuesday to Sunday, and tables can be booked through its own site.

Open Tuesday to Sunday from noon, and closed on Monday.
