Running from 11 to 20 July 2025, the Edinburgh Jazz & Blues Festival brings more than 130 performances to venues across the city. The programme spans jazz, blues, swing, funk, soul, and experimental sounds, staged in concert halls, clubs, and pop-up spaces, including The Famous Spiegeltent in St Andrew Square. The opening weekend features the free Mardi Gras and Carnival events, followed by a mix of workshops, jazz school sessions, family concerts, and late-night jam sets. It’s one of the few major city festivals in July with a strong local following, drawing international acts while keeping a rooted, community-led feel.
