Introduction
Standing proudly in front of Edinburgh’s Omni Center in the heart of Edinburgh’s City centre are two giraffes, nicknames Martha and Gilbert.
These beautiful scrap-metal sculptures were created by Scottish artist Helen Denerley and unveiled in July 2005.
Look out for the poem at the base of the statue by Roy Campbell.
