Vinette
A Parisian-inspired wine bar and bistro on Broughton Street from Stuart Ralston, opened in October 2025 and in the Michelin Guide.
Vinette brings a little of Paris to Broughton Street.
It's a wine bar and bistro from Stuart Ralston and the Aizle Hospitality Group, opened in October 2025 and already in the Michelin Guide, and it's made for long lunches, great bottles and relaxed evenings around the table. The cooking takes French bistro classics and gives them Scottish produce, so you might start with a pig's head croquette or duck liver parfait with brioche, then move on to flat iron steak frites with bordelaise, cod with clams and beurre blanc, or the Vinette burger with bacon jam, and finish with a Paris-brest. Come for lunch from Friday to Sunday for the best value, when the set menu includes wine. Downstairs is Vivien, the team's intimate cocktail bar, for a drink before dinner or a nightcap after. Tables can be booked six months ahead through its own website, with a card to hold them, and there's a short prix fixe menu early in the evening from Monday to Thursday.

Dinner every evening and lunch from Friday to Sunday.
Booking is through its own site, opens six months ahead, and needs a card to hold the table.
