Welcome

Bonnie & Wild is a big, bright food hall on Level 4 of the St James Quarter, across the road from Waverley Station, and it's one of the easiest places in the city to feed a group who can't agree.

It's given over to Scottish food and drink, with ten kitchens and a café, three bars and a bottle shop under one roof. You'll find fish and seafood at Creel Caught by Gary Maclean, Sri Lankan street food at Kochchi, Chinese cooking at Leith Woks, New York-style pizza at Flùr and stuffed cookies at Chulo's. The newest kitchen is Tacos Lah from chef Julie Lin, who turns Malaysian street food into tacos, rice bowls and burritos, from lemongrass beef to sambal pork with pineapple salsa and a spiced haggis taco. You order at each counter, take a buzzer and pick up your drinks at the bar. There's no need to book, even for a big group, and it's cards only.
