An Introduction to Botanical Art is a hands-on workshop held at Black Isle Brewery’s workshop. Over two days participants develop watercolour and drawing skills with guidance from an experienced teacher from the Scottish Society of Botanical Arts. The programme covers accurate observation, line work and painting techniques using botanical subjects selected from the surrounding gardens. A variety of materials are covered with practical demonstrations and studio practice. Organic tea, coffee and cake are provided on both days.
