Introduction
Connected to the riverbanks by Victorian footbridges, the Ness Islands are naturally formed islands dotted through the River Ness. Found just a little way from the centre of Inverness, you can weave through the towering pine trees, discover the Nessie sculpture and – in the summer – watch fishermen searching for salmon.
