Loch Ness
Factors Cottage
Introduction
Originally the home of the estate factor, this cottage sits among mature trees with views out across woodland and open grounds at Aldourie Castle, part of WildLand. The layout is designed for shared stays, with a large kitchen and dining area forming the centre of the house, alongside a separate sitting room for quieter evenings.
There are three double bedrooms, including a principal room with en-suite, while a family bathroom and additional WC serve the rest of the house. Natural light runs through the space, with a straightforward, comfortable feel throughout. Provisions and suppers prepared by the Aldourie Castle chefs can be arranged on request.
Outside, the private garden offers room to sit out or cook, with direct access into the wider landscape for walks towards the loch, through woodland and across open lawns. Inverness is a short drive away, though most stays naturally settle into a slower pace here.

The cottage is well equipped for self-catering, with a full kitchen including dishwasher and coffee machine, and a laundry area with washer/dryer, iron and detergent. Basic provisions are provided on arrival, including tea, coffee, milk, bread, jam, yoghurt, oil, salt and pepper. Bed linen, towels and toiletries are included, along with logs for the fire. A private garden with outdoor seating and BBQ is also available, with EV charging at the estate steadings and optional e-bike hire.
