Inverness Museum and Art Gallery

A museum and gallery dedicated to preserving the history and culture of the Highlands, here the history of Inverness is brought to life. Hundreds of artefacts, dating back centuries, can be found, detailing the movement of the city through centuries of turmoil. First opened in 1826, its modern refurbishment in 2007 now makes it a contemporary spot to step back in time.
