From 24–26 October 2025, Fruitmarket in Edinburgh will host Future Makers: A Showcase of Sustainable and Collaborative Design, a two-day celebration marking the finale of its year-long Future Makers programme. Bringing together work by 12 Scottish designers and makers, the showcase highlights innovative approaches to sustainability, craftsmanship, and creative retail. The weekend features talks, workshops, and exhibitions, offering insight into how makers are reimagining gallery merchandise through thoughtful, environmentally conscious design. Visitors can explore and purchase unique collections that connect art and sustainability, while learning about the processes and collaborations shaping the future of Scottish design.
