The Tall Ships Races Aberdeen 2025

The Tall Ships Races return to Aberdeen from 19–22 July 2025, bringing a fleet of international sailing vessels to the city’s historic harbour. Visitors can step aboard the ships, meet crew members, and watch a parade of sail through the port. Across the four days, there’ll be live music, street food, local craft stalls, and a Discovery Zone with activities for all ages. Headline acts include Deacon Blue and the Kaiser Chiefs. It’s the first time in nearly 30 years that Aberdeen has hosted the event, with opportunities for young people to train as sail crew and hundreds of volunteer roles available.
