Footdee

Footdee, called Fittie by locals, is its own little community accessed by a leisurely stroll down the beach. This former fishing village consists of cottages facing inwards to keep them safe from the fierce tides. Designed by John Smith, who also designed Balmoral Castle, is like a glimpse back into the 19th century. Prepare to take a step back in time!
